The initial preparatory work of the transnational railway, invested by private enterprises in both China and Russia and linking Hulin city in northeast China's Helongjiang province and Lesozavodsk city in Russia's Far East region, is ready so far and expected to break ground by the end of June this year. It is the first time that private enterprises take part in the construction of transnational railway.
The transnational railway, stretching a total length of 56 km, successfully keeps clear of the natural moats of Helongjiang River and Wusuli River on the Sino-Russia border, making the trade relations between the countries more earlier.
