Lufthansa moves China headquarters to Shanghai

German airline Lufthansa has formally moved its China headquarters to Shanghai, reporter of International Finance News learned from the air company on October 25.

In an e-mail to the reporter, Lufthansa said that Shanghai would be seat of Lufthansa's business headquarters in China, while Beijing would serve as a hub linking Lufthansa with government and industry.

Lufthansa appointed Mr. Arvedvonzur Muehlen last Thursday as its China division chief, insiders revealed, to further expand Lufthansa's business scale in China, strengthen passenger service in Shanghai, Beijing, Guangzhou and Hong Kong, and extend the airline's business influence.
