Wang allegedly resisted the order and hit the official vehicles with bricks. When police officers intervened, he stabbed two policemen and an official with land and resources bureau.

Police said Wang then rushed to the road, smashed a passing car and stabbed two persons in the car, one of them died on the spot.

Wang then stabbed in his own belly to commit suicide, before he was overcome by the police.

Wang and the four persons he wounded were all sent to hospital and were in stable conditions.

Wang had been given prison terms for breaking properties on purpose in 2004, according to the police.
