Thick fog to shroud northern, eastern China

The northern and eastern parts of China are to be shrouded in thick fog Saturday morning, the National Meteorological Center said Friday, warning of increasing safety risk on road and in airports.
From Friday night to Saturday morning, thick fog is expected in northern provinces of Shanxi, Shannxi, and Hebei, and in the eastern provinces of Zhejiang, Jiangsu and Fujian. The capital city Beijing and northern city Tianjin are also expecting thick fog.
In some regions, visibility could be reduced to below 500 meters, it said.
