A report, aiming at making Chinese domain names more popular in Singapore, was released by Singapore Network Information Center (SGNIC), a subordinate to Singapore Infocomm Development Authority (IDA) on Nov. 3. It said that Singapore will accept Chinese domain name registration in four processes from Nov. 23 this year to Jun. 10, 2010.
It is reported that SGNIC has begun to accept sub level Chinese domain name registration under ".sg". Local companies are able to go through the registration process between Jan. 7 to Feb. 18 next year. It will eventually lead to individual registration in the whole country.
